1960's Canuck Pottery Evangeline Cobalt Teapot Set

Vintage red clay pottery stoneware ribbed pumpkin teapot with creamer and sugar bowl set from Canuck Pottery's Evangeline line in a cobalt blue over navy drip glaze. The potters used a revolutionary new (at the time) leadless liquid glaze recipe from Bristol, England. Measurements: (including handle/spouts) • Teapot 7.5" high x 8" wide • Creamer 3" high x 5.5" wide • Sugar 3" high x 6" wide • Mold 1027 Excellent condition. Note: There are glaze defects on the bottom, as well as on the underside of the lid. Please refer to photos. Canuck Pottery operated in Saint John, NB. It moved production to Quebec in 1963 and ceased production in the early 1970s.
