Mid-century small red clay pottery shoe in iconic green drip glaze. Beautiful vintage Canadian pottery piece. Display with a candle, or add a small floral frog pin with some flowers in it. Use as a ring dish or business card holder. Of course, it is a gorgeous stand alone piece on a shelf, dresser, vanity or table.

• Original sticker on the bottom reads Canuck Pottery (Quebec) Ltd. Labelle Made in Canada
Canuck Pottery Ltd. - Originated about 1938 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Later in the 60s it moved to Labelle, Quebec after a disastrous fire at the Saint John location in 1963. Both white and red clay items produced. Operations ceased in the 70's.
Note: There is some crazing (last photo) and a few tiny glazing bubbles. Lovely condition, early Canadian art pottery. Floral arrangement not included.
