1960s Drop Waist Day Dress Pattern, Simplicity 2721, 36" Bust, Peter Pan Collar

Simplicity pattern 2721 - 1960s pattern for day dress dress with lowered waistline and carriers for purchased belt or matching sash. Misses dress features short or 3/4 sleeve option with wide round neckline and dropped/lowered waistline, and flared skirt with a deep pleat at the centre front and back seams. Version 1 has longer sleeves, detachable collar and is shown with a purchased belt. Version 2 features short sleeves and matching sash at lowered waist. Marked Size 16 Bust 36" Waist 28" Hips 38" Finished Length: 45" (at back of dress) Fits like contemporary Misses 8 US based on measurements. Cut pattern - all pieces and instructions are present and in excellent condition. Pattern was cut for version 2 of the dress with short sleeves and sash. Version 1 is still an option as the cut lower section of the long sleeve piece is still with the pattern. Envelope is in very good vintage condition, with some overall tanning, wrinkles and tears at sides and corners. Please use measurements provided for best fit.
