This incredible boho kaftan is a one of a kind 1960s beauty! The only tagging is the one seen in the photo reading “Fabric from London Silk”. Upon research London Silk was actually a high end textile store in Victoria BC open from the 1950s - 1970s and supplied local boutiques, designers and homemakers with unique and high quality textiles from around the world!
This piece has a liner along the body down to the hem which I believe is silk. I also believe the outer fabric to be a silk blend as well although due to the lack of composition tag, I have no way of 100% guaranteeing this to you. It is medium weight, has pockets and a fantastic pointed hood with tassle which adds to the vintage charm of the 1960s!
This seems to have been through a few hands in its life up to this point who have done small (easily reversible) alterations to it. As pictured you can see that someone added Velcro so that it can be done up to the neck. Also as pictured someone added a small stitch up the front but left the hook and eye closures still intact on the inside. This seam could easily be reserved if preferred and would add some flexibility to the 19 inch P2P
Fell free to send me an offer! I’d love to find a new home for this one of a kind special piece 🫶🏼

@macmaven Hi! Thanks for your interest!
Here are the lay flat measurements in inches:
P2P - 19
Shoulders - 21
Length - 54
Make sure to read my listing description (I know it’s long sorry!) I explain a little alteration that’s been done and could easily be reverse to make the P2P a little more flexible if that’s a concern 😊
