1960s‎ Rayon Yardage

Extremely rare, out of my personal collection - early 1960s 100% Rayon. This is very difficult to find in general, but this pattern just really brings it home. Very 1960s Versace. But the bold black base with the florals and gold accents is just wild tbh. In 1960, Rayon was dubbed Artificial silk, and that’s exactly what it feels like. A lot of time has gone in to trimming this piece, washing, pressing, steaming and getting it ready to be made into something incredible. This would make a mind blasting dress used on a period correct pattern imo, or this would make incredible scarves. There is a full 3 yards here, so this yardage is impressive also. Posting this now, I already miss it.
