1960s Sommerso Green in Amber Ribbed Glass Vase

Thick and heavy mid century modern hand blown art glass vase, green core encased in amber ribs. This is a head turner. • Green sommerso in amber • Scalloped rim • Fluted mallet shape • Smooth pontil • Polished bottom • 12" tall x 4" wide I do not know the origin of the vase. Nonetheless, it was clearly made by a master glassmaker using very difficult techniques. Note: There is a smooth chip and scuffing on the bottom, as well as hard to see light scuffing on one side.
