1960s Swung Glass Five Finger Vase in Amber

This vintage Taiwanese five finger amber glass vase has a blown mould base, which was swung to elongate it while the glass was still warm, and pulled fingers. • MCM Taiwan • Random bubbles • 9.5" x 3" In the 60s, Taiwan moved into Western style glass making and invited a number of known world glassmakers from Italy, Czechoslovakia and Japan to help them on their way. The midcentury five finger vase is a great addition to any art glass collection and is a staple in swung vase collections. Note: I did find one tiny scratch when inspecting it closely.
