1960s praying children, Italian pewter on emerald green velvet

A pair of genuine pewter figures of praying children - a boy and a girl - on emerald green velvet backgrounds, with a green rope surround. Made in Italy and both with the original label attached. The little plaques have a strut so they can be free standing, or have a little loop at the top to be hung to a wall or door. Fun as kitsch wall décor, nursery decor, or why not have them as little washroom or changing room signs? Condition: The little girl leans a little further into the strut than the boy and the strut with a little bit of the fabric letting go (pictured). The green velvet with a few small marks on the edges and a mark behind the girl. The pewter figurines with some really nice eye catching highlights to the boys cuffs, collar, hem and trousers, and the girl´s hairband, collar, hem and nightdress ribbon.
