1967 Canada Post Centennial Confederation Stamp box & stamps-unused

Issued by the Canada Post Office in 1967 to commemorate the 1867-1967 Centennial. 12 uncirculated commemorative stamps, featuring the late Queen 1967 Canada Post Office Centennial of Canadian Confederation Stamp Box. Includes unused copies of the 1967 Canada Centennial issue stamps, with descriptions of each on printed card inside the lid. From the card in the box: "This box was designed as a convenient container for postage stamps, stickers, and postal information. To fill the reservoir which is at the top of the box, unscrew the plug on the left-hand side, and add water. The finger-tip valve located towards the right of the reservoir releases water into the adjacent well containing a fluted roller. The roller becomes moistened as it is revolved and may be used to moisten postage stamps and stickers from the box." Nice postal history ephemera item. Unused in original cardboard mailer box, only opened for photos. Mailer box has signs of age and wear. Plastic stamp box is in mint condition. Photos are the actual item.
