Vintage 1967 Royal Doulton Bone China Figurine Tuppence A Bag Made in England Item number HN 2320 Hand painted and crafted Created by artist Mary Nicoll Released in 1967 5.5"H x 5"W x 4"D A whimsical figurine from bygone times of a lady street vendor in Old England selling rolls from her basket. She has befriended the pjgeons who, of course, are interested in the bread. Her rolls cost Tuppence A Bag, thus the title of the piece. In excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Absolutely beautiful glaze!!!
