1970 original Barbie doll Nurse Julia, based on TV show "Julia" (1968-1971) played by actress Diahann Carroll. Her hair has oxidized to reddish. Very good vintage condition, please check all photos. Bendable legs & twist 'n turn waist. Made in Japan. This doll is recognized as one of the first (two prior to Julia) African American celebrity dolls in the Barbie Liine. 1969 has 2 pce uniform, 1970 has 1 pce uniform.
