1970’s Blue Mountain Pottery Blue Green Drip Glaze Large Ashtray - Vintage Dish

This wonderful retro large saber-tooth shaped Blue Mountain Pottery ashtray was hand decorated and glazed, made in Canada circa the 1970’s. It is an absolutely beautiful drip glaze green and blue colour, featuring “cigarette slots” on three sides; although indented as an ashtray, this piece would be a wonderful addition as a decorative trinket, jewellery, catchall, entryway tray dish, etc! This vintage ceramic dish would look great displayed on mid century furniture or added to any Canadian pottery collection. Excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, staining, discolouration, etc. however there are minor chips on the paint in two corners, as seen Measurements (approx): 2 3/8” inches height x 11 3/4” inches length x 8 3/4” inches width Vintage items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of wear; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
