The carved piece has two stickers on the bottom: One indicating that the material from which the artwork is carved is genuine soapstone, and the other noting the artist and that the carving was produced in Canada. • Circa 1970s • 2" tall x 2.75" diameter • Signed by Inuit artist Siku • Made in Canada • Felted on the bottom to protect furniture The fine Canadian handcrafted products by Siku are carved in a variety of media, including natural soapstone, green glass, and black marble.
