A classic wood finish flip-clock by Sanyo, model 10FA-T40W, made in Japan. With AM/FM band selector button, ON/OFF button for the alarm and ON/OFF Manual button, to listen to the radio and turn on the backlight to the bandwidth selection. The volume and tuning are dials and there is a sleep setting (max 60 mins). On the side of the device is the wheel to set the time and alarm. There is a switch underneath the clock, to switch the alarm between buzzer and radio. There is an exit point to the back for an external speaker (untested).
A great addition to a home or office space, with very classic and eye catching retro styling.
Condition: Overall this radio clock is cosmetically in nice shape with only small marks of age and use to the wooden finish and the silvery metal edging to the front. The AM/FM band selection button will only very occasionally click in place and is basically stuck on FM. The alarm will only work when the radio is NOT on (as intended) and works like a charm. The radio itself works well and even on about 25% volume is plenty loud (the sound is very tinny / shrill when louder than 50%). The backlight bulb to the time display does not work (likely a burned out bulb).
Size: 13" wide including the turning knobs to the side, 5 3/4" deep x 4" high (33 x 15 x 10.5 cm)
