1970s Sweden Aseda Clear Bone Vase

Clear, thick vintage art glass bud vase with controlled bubble bullicante base. Thick and heavy clear glass in a jack in the pulpit style. This bud vase, nicknamed the Bone Vase, was designed for Åseda Glassworks in the 60s. • 1971-73 Catalogue item 647 • Made in Sweden • Mid Century Modern • 9" tall x 2.75" wide Åseda Glassworks was founded in 1947 in the south of Sweden. It was active until 1977 and is best known for its art glass. Note: The bottom has scuffing that you can see through the base and four flea bites that can be felt when rubbing on the bottom edge.
