1970s red maxi dress

1970s cherry red maxi dress - I imagine this could have been worn for prom. It is so sweet. The rosette at the bust and the flowing neckline scream 70s! This has an empire cut, so flows away from the bust with some great pleating. Unlined Does up with a zipper down the back. There is a touch of stretch under the bust, where the empire waist begins Era: 1970s Label: Nu Mode fabric: no fabric label however is polyester Condition: great vintage condition; there are a couple of loose threads on the right hand side of the under bust as shown. I also believe the neckline was sew up a bit to be more modest so these cold be undone if you like Keep in mind these garments are usually quite old and it is not uncommon for them to show signs of wear. While I do my best to inspect the garments on the hunt for flaws, I do occasionally miss something. All pieces are sold as-is, so please be sure to ask if you are unsure of something. Measures: All measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and are then doubled ( for bust, waist, hips) Please leave yourself a little wiggle room for the most comfortable fit. this dress best fits a size small bust 34" waist 24-28" (measured under the bust ) hip open length 57" shoulder to shoulder 13"
