...inset flower tile, vintage party entertaining tray A vintage wooden hostess serving tray / cheese or charcuterie party platter with inset tile featuring bright yellow / orange flowers. Very 1960 / 1970s Scandinavian or boho in styling, unmarked for a maker but likely by Gail Craft, Made in Japan. The little metal ring would have attached to a chain, which would have been attached to a cheese knife, to rest in the narrow slot underneath the tile. Condition: small marks of age and use mostly to the edges, overall good Recently oiled with food-safe butcher block oil. Size: ca 18 1/4 inches wide x 12 1/16 inches wide (46.5 x 30.8 cm) Weight: almost 1.5 kg
