1980s Benetton wool blend sweater — Made in Italy

This sweater is peak iconic Benetton 1980s après ski style! I think it depicts ghosts and planets in a lovely and unique palette from a 40% wool, 10% alpaca, and 50% acrylic blend. It’s well-preserved and a resilient knit, only accumulating a bit of wispy pilling with each wear that is easily brushed off with your hands. In very good condition overall with vibrant colours. The shoulder tag is clipped off on one side for comfort but the care instructions, fabric information and size all remain on the tag. Made in Italy, it’s an Italian 48 which I found fit a Canadian Size L or Size 12-14 ideally — just a little bit roomy for that classic Princess Di look. I recommend this fit not only for the look but also so that you can wear a nice turtleneck under it for skiing. For care, handwash cold, no bleach, cool iron, and do not tumble dry.
