1980s Emanuel Ungaro Parallele Wool Striped + Houndstooth Coat Vintage

A gorgeously kept vintage couture “Emanuel Ungaro Parallele Collection” piece. An oversized wool coat from the 1980s. Outer shell is a low twist thick black wool twill with a winter white stripe band throughout Inside fabric (double layer) is a finer twist wool in a houndstooth pattern. Double breasted oversized lapel, padded shoulders, bat winged sleeves, the silhouette of the garment slims down towards the hem. Low set of buttons, near lower hip, if desired to close front. N.B. Two photos being worn are “similar coats” as an example. Marked a size 6, but would fit up to a size 10 IMO. Shoulder across- 19” No pit across measurement because of bat wing cut. Waist across- 22” Hem across- 20” Back of neck to hem- 41.5” Centre back neck to sleeve hem- 30” In remarkably pristine condition for its age. Kept carefully in climate controlled storage as part of a collection.
