1980s Pewter Moon with Faux Turquoise Earrings 

Vintage petwer earrings made by Jonette Jewelry featuring a Southwestern design of a crescent moon with a howling wolf, and a star dangling from the bottom of the moon. • Measure 1.25" wide x 2" tall (not including the ear wire) and dangle to closer to 2.5".  • Marked JJ©1988 • Made in USA • Made in 1988 • Materials: Pewter/Faux Turquoise The Providence, RI based Jonette Jewelry Company, or JJ, was in business from 1935 through 2006. Founded by Abraham Lisker, it was called The Providence Jewelry Company, then Lisker & Lisker, and after a significant slow-down in production during the years of World War II, the company revamped and resurfaced as Jonette Jewelry. It's known for animal designs and Christmas themed jewelry. In the 1980's, the company produced specialty lines Artifacts, a line of novelty pins, and Santa Fe, a line of American western jewelry. Note: The pewter has some scratches from wear but otherwise in good vintage condition.
