1980s Stuart Weitzman Metallic Gold Leather Crossbody Clutch Saddle Evening Bag

This stunning vintage designer bag in gold leather can be worn as a clutch or crossbody. Magnetic snap close saddle style top flap. The removable crossbody strap attaches to a goldtone metal top ring. The front is adorned with gold embroidered lace and sparkling rhinestones. • Made in Spain • 7" high x 5.5" wide x 3" deep • 44" removable strap • 27" strap drop • 2" ring • Leather exterior and lining • Circa 1986 Bag has some structure relaxing, metal hardware oxidation under the strap, and overall surface marks. No tears or stains. Stuart Weitzman apprenticed under his father Seymour Weitzman for Mr. Seymour shoe factory in Spain. His designs were called Stuart Weitzman for Mr. Seymour and this logo matches the one for that time period, except the Mr Seymour is dropped, as Stuart took over the company in 1986 and renamed it Stuart Weitzman.
