Vintage 1980’s cocktail dress with jacket. Off white in colour. Minor discolouration at the bottom. Shoulder pads in the jacket. Clasps keep the jacket closed. One has come unattached but is still attached to its hook and would be an easy stitch job to fix. Was worn as an after-wedding reception dress in 1987.

_angelica_t Love this! What are the dimensions at the hips? Is the fabric raw silk?

stephanie_mro @_angelica_t I just measured it at the widest part of the hips and it’s about 20 inches across. The material also really has no give. And unfortunately I have no idea about the material as there’s no tags at all on this. My mother just says she bought it off the rack and doesn’t remember much else about it.
