Press the game piece on the square to register your move. The built-in computer makes sure you only make legal moves and lets you take back moves if you get stuck. Press PLAY any time and the LCD screen displays a suggested move. It shows the moves you and the computer make, and whose turn it is. 64 levels of playing strength so you can start as a beginner and level up as you improve. Remembers your current game for up to 2 years so you can resume where you left off. Shuts down automatically after 20 minutes if you forget to switch off. Uses 2 AA batteries (not included). Chess pieces store conveniently inside the back compartment under the game board. Board is 8.5" x 11".
Working condition. Includes instruction booklet in FRENCH & ENGLISH. One of the black pawns is missing, but a piece from a board game could easily be substituted.
