19th Century Antique Violin Case Coffin Case original Hardware-English/London

antique 19th century Coffin Case 💀 for a Violin from the 1800s for a full size 4/4 Violin original brass hardware thru out in original condition case and hardware are all in working order overall in excellent condition for it's age it needs a clean-up and reupholstering of the fabric interior if it's going to be used to house an instrument case still has original emerald green felt lining remnants of old paper lining underneath felt. bow holder in the top of the Case works. the case does have one small crack on one edge/ near the right side latch/ this is not super noticeable as the Case is painted in the original Traditional old London Style- with black Pitch 🖤 crack is very small/ the crack doesn't effect usability & would be a quick repair if You have basic woodworking skills. (a little glue&a patch & putty good as new) this Case is stable as is without repair/ it is solid&durable- it would make a great refurbishing diy project if you wanted a period violin case - or it could be an interesting display piece / might be of use to upcyclers& historic musical instrument gear enthusiasts cool oddity for goth shabby chic home decor could be repurposed as a storage box or shelf
