bonnie985 Hi Hon, Me again! *Smiles* quick question...Well, question anyway, you said you have many pieces. I'll be honest (I try to always be *lol*), I LUV gold jewelry, that's the only kind I wear (although I still admire and enjoy looking at whimsical & unique pieces *smiles* art is beauty even in jewelry regardless of the material). However, I really want & have been looking for something, for a loooong time (amazingly not for me *lol*) for my mum. She only likes gold too, but she doesn't buy/hasn't bought (or even worn) jewelry for yrs & yrs & yrs..*shrugs* that's just the kinda woman she is (74yrs old, still beautiful, every1 loves her yet she doesn't see it & would give the shirt off her back, devout catholic & raised 2 girls alone, and very old school frm another country) just giving you some insight to her, I would like to find a simple, yet elegant piece for her (if she never wears it, that's fine, she will just love getting & wld treasure because I got it for her. For X-mas I bought (sight unseen, well seen but not in person and what I got sure didn't look like what I saw *shrugs*, but it was what I could afford) a gold over sterling silver w/Zircon ring (and gave it to her, and she was appropriately tickled/happy), but I wasn't happy with it, and wouldn't have given it to her had I an alternate option. *frowns* So, my budget would only be around $200 or less (that's a LOT for me considering what's going on in my life). She likes citrine, and blue sapphire (*Smiles* I've played in her jewelry box since a little girl, when she would show me each piece and then tell me the background story about how she came to have them...*laughs* nothing like how much jewelry you have, and only a select few were real, she just had a few pieces kept in an old blue make-up case, but they were like Ali Bahba's 40 Thieves' treasure to me..sparkly jewels & time w/Mum, you couldn't get better than that..*smiles* then or now *winks*...& probably where I got my love of jewelry. Please if you have any real gold/jewel pieces that you think she may like, that may "fit" her, please let me know/send me pictures. If you do not, or that isn't an amount that you are wiling to consider parting with a piece for the amount of, then I understand, really. *Smiles* And do not feel any obligation to send a note or reply to this. I simply figured it couldn't hurt for me to ask you. *shrugs* *SMILES* Thank you for taking the time to read all this..*laughs* I know it's a lot. bonnie985 Thank you so much!! *Smiles* & No worries! *chuckles* I think there must be a run on Posh, as everyone is telling me the same thing about getting buried! & Oddly so have I & I haven't even posted all my stuff yet (just one quickie listing)!! I appreciate your replying, and again, Thank you so much for looking! My mum is my Hero & she truly does so much for me!! I have health issues, so she constantly does errands to the pharmacy & takes me to the Dr, and a million other things that I just can't physically do, not to mention that she's just a great person in general & I honestly don't know what I'd do w/o her. I just want to give her something special. Though I do express my thanks & gratitude to her often, but *shrugs* I really want to give her a little something tangible/special between us & to show how much she means to me & that I appreciate her unending support & assistance & a million other things/reasons. Something she can be proud to wear to church or bingo (hoping she will at least) that also shows the other ladies/her friends that I care, because I never get to go to those places w/her because of my health issues *Smiles* *shrugs* sounds silly I know! *Smiles* but unlike them/the stories I hear, I can't afford to send her on trips, nor can I go to church/bingo or the casino to show them her daughter does support/loves/appreciates/thinks about her, like all of their kids do. *shrugs* I hate to think of her as the odd-woman out..not getting shown support from her M.I.A. daughter in front of her friends (they've never met me, as I've been injured/ill over the last several yrs of mum knowing them), *laughs* I think they may think I'm not "real" or at the very least that I'm an unsociable hermit that doesn't care about showing my mum support or going w/her anywhere (neither true, one due to health, the other...well, I'd give her the World if I could!!) *smiles* Thanks again, pardon my babbling on *laughs* ..pls LMK if you do find something appropriate within my financial limit. It is one of the only actual castles that was able to be held on to and protected by the same family all the way to the 1960's I believe we learned.amazing!! And the rest are a price of who I am 

I replied to a post a while back (when you were with your Mother in the hospital, but I didn't hear back so I figured you were busy with her & didn't have time to get back to me. I know how it is, believe me! I took care of my Mom 24/7 when she moved in with me due to health issues and it was 7 years of caregiving to her in a wheelchair, hospital bed in her room, 3 surgeries, etc/she took such good care of me all those years it's the least I could do!!). My Mom has since passed away and I miss her. I hope your Mom is ok now!! So how have you been lately? Any exciting news, or travels? How's sales been? You have such beautiful items in your closet, I live so many pieces!! All so very unique😜. Sales have been kinda slow for me on Poshmark but it could be because I've not been on here as much! i found a local app via Facebook where local people buy/sell items (kinda a cross between Posh & eBay and I've sold like 7 items so far/people meet at a church parking lot to do the transactions). deenanelson Hi, You do not know me very well but I need to ask a favor. I hadn't heard from @jefsweetie Katie since yesterday morning and we usually talk every evening and she just got home from hospital and has to see a trauma surgeon ASAP for some internal injures from the internal radiation damaging her insides. I don't know how to tag everyone she knows to ask for prayers for her. She's pretty scared. I figure you know more of her friends here than I do. And can spread the word so much quicker than I can. scarlettstained @thanhie thank you Lovey!!Ireland was my dream I went to Dublin I was disappointed at how crowded it was exactly like new York busses everywhere but I can tell you where to go "Glendalough" it is where Ps I love you was filmed, and "Braveheart "Mel Gibson all rolling plains and historic 1500 year old villages.worth the trip and if you want blow you away Ocean Sea beauty waves crashing the rocks go to Cork and the "Cliffs of Moher" the rest of Ireland for me was almost like America and I went through the whole country almost I hope you get to go one day.That door picture above is my own Photography of the Malahide Castle there

I am slightly off lately so much going on at work, home and unneeded drama on posh. I fell asleep early but I never sleep through the night and woke up around 1130 and looked through the picks. You really are .I'm a very detailed person and I love love love getting long letters,it actuallyade me so happy you took the special time out of your life to write me! Some of you ladies on posh I just feel close to .So strange like we are destined to be friends.I teach my daughters of the 3 wise men bearing gifts to the messiah on Christmas and the historical truth is Saint Nicholas was actually a real person long ago a Christian who celebrated the gift of giving and really had horses and a sleigh he really had a workshop where he Mae wooden toys and gave them out .He did it every year and became so popular from sharing giving and Love at Christmas that they made him a Saint! Then from there he became a legend and the tales began to grow about flying reindeer on rooftops and chimneys. So glad to hear another momma who let's her kids know it's more than just a Santa.thanks for sharing with me.I love that you felt me special enough to check in and browse my party! scarlettstained @eburkett Ireland is just big city like new York if you go to Dublin just stores everywhere.If you want to go to the mystical feeling lands there with much rich history of the priests go to the shepherd herded hills and ruins at Glendalough. And if you want to see the majestic mountains with the waves crashing the rocks and breathtaking cliffs go to the Cliffs of Moher! I've seen it all just about these are the best 2 places and if you want old galaic ancient language and cottages and fisherman docks history go to Cork italso has a rich larger city shopping in town but country area is a place where I was really able to pray and meditate over the beautiful hills 

sassyhill1224 I love that story. Maybe I will start telling Joey of that also!!! Have to do something. If not now, so much harder when they are older. For my job, I have my clients wrapping gifts for children for an organization in the area and also serving food to the homeless. So I decided to have Joey help mommy wrap toys also. It may be slightly difficult because Joey is 5 and will be in a room full of toys he can't play with. Haha. But after talking to him about what we were going to do, he said "I want to pick out toys in my room I don't play with and give to the kids that don't have all that kinda stuff mommy". Almost cried. Can't beat that ya know. Slowly but surely, he will know the true meaning of holiday spirit. Giving. Yay!!! Mission almost accomplished. I've Saved your email and will definitely stay in touch. scarlettstained @sajama Sarah you are a great guessed I am of partial Irish descent reddish brown hair and pale as can be ;) I always wanted dark hair and brown eyes and skin .if you go to Ireland and you want what you see in the movies you must go to Glendalough or cliffs of Moher or youare disappointed to only see another big busy city :) but the best experience! Cork Ireland a city but cottages on outskirts 

nikkinoodles hey, girl @scarlettstained !! i was so happy to "see" you yesterday! i have been just hangin' in there here on PM, sharing when I can (usually when I'm on conference calls...) but the past month or two have been a blur! i so love this post -- i went to malahide castle in '97. i was in surrey on a biz trip, and realized that dublin was only an hour or so plane ride, and i've always wanted to go (by pop-pop was from ireland, but he's been gone since '65 and the family has never been able to find any documentation...) so i went by myself, wandered all around dublin (and for a big city, it's pretty cool!) went on some tours of traditional 'victorian' homes, saw a lot of great viking remnants, went to malahide castle (so wonderful!), took tons of gorgeous photos with a camera i borrowed from a friend, and when i got home, i found that the film she said she just put in it was never in it!!! soooooo, i have to go again :-)

If you do please go to the best highlights cliffs of Moher & Glendalough Dublin is very overcrowded like new York style for comparison but I did utilize the redcity buses and got around every part of Ireland that way.So it was useful.my brother inlaw was mugged at 10 pm outside a pub while innocently walking by to his bus so myadvice don't go out after dark in the city there.but you'll love the ocean at the cliffs and history of the celts and church and monuments at Glendalough

Majestic on water. Town of Glendalough ancient ruins towers and cottages beautiful!!!! "Malahide castle" closes at 6pm so I didn't get full tour I came right at 6 and just missed and only got to enter the 1st floor. Also my favorite told to me by the town locals and was not advertised anywhere but in town of Lucan there is a castle called "Castletowne House"I will always carry memories of that castle all old original furniture!glorious! And for wild boutique shopping city of Dublin you and your mom can read the signs and the bus will take you direct to these places if you get on right bus it's cheap that way to get around but you must have lots of exact change in Irish coins they will not take American money as our dollar has been de valued there.They tried to kick me and my daughters off bus for trying to pay American coins.I was so embarrassed a nice old lady saw the fear in my eyes and paid my 2$ fee! Thank God. Blarney castle also!! Tell me all about it when you get back!!! Safe journey sister!
