2 Francis Lascour Terracotta Statues

Made by Francis Lascour in Breton, France, this is a pair of terracotta statues of a shepherd and shepherdess. The shepherd is carrying a lamb while holding a metal crook; in his other hand is his hat. The shepherdess is grabbing a goat by its mouth while holding a sheaf of firewood in her other arm (actually small sticks). They are 9" tall so are larger than most Lascour works and are also heavy -the shepherdess weighs almost 3 1/2 pounds. They are part of Lascour's "Quality Collection" and the only chip I can find is at the the tail of the goat and can be seen in picture #7.
