2 Skeins of 100% variegated merino fingering weight yarn for knitting crochet

Cascade “Merino Dream”, a single ply merino wool in a glowing ecru, orange and charcoal colourway called “Coals”. This yarn is so soft and versatile! Each ball is 100g and approximately 400m, for a total of 200g and almost 800m. As a fingering weight yarn, it will be gorgeous as a shawl, sweater, or baby crib blanket. Although it is the right weight to use as sock yarn, I wouldn’t recommend that, as the 100% merino may be too soft to be durable in that application. Brand new and unused, although the tags have been removed. I hand-wound one ball to get a better sense of the colour variation in the skein. The close-up photo captures the colours best. Both balls are the same dye-lot. Because this is a commercially dyed yarn, there should be more consistency between these skeins than you might expect from a hand painted product. Even so, you might want to alternate rows to minimize any difference between them. Discontinued.
