Vase planter #2
Satisfactory condition
Ceramic
However, there is crazing and 2 chips
The word “JAPAN” is stamped on the
bottom of both vase/planters
4 ½ inches in height
Base is 3 ½ inches wide
Vase planter opening is also 3 ½
inches wide
Has been carefully inspected
There is a common chip on
the two available planter vases
and that chip is in exactly the
same place on both (refer to photo 4)
That is not the only deficiency on
vase planter #2; there are two other
noted deficiencies . . .
- additional chip; middle of yellow
band on rim (refer photo #7)
- small, 2-inch crack leading from top
of scales into interior of vase planter;
tested for water retention; all good; no leaking
In fact crack is barely noticeable by
fingernail inspection for about a
half inch at top of vase

2 – Reverse, baby scales vase
planter #2; crazing is evident
3 - Side view, baby scales vase

4 - Side view; chip found in exactly same
place on both vase planters in stock; chips
highlighted with red electronic pen

highlighted with electronic black ink
