2005 Steiff Crystal Bear with Swarovski Annual Edition Star Christmas Ornament

Crystal, The Swarovski Teddy Bear, was the 2005 Numbered Limited Edition and the second in the series of the ongoing collaboration between Steiff and Swarovski North America (her brother Daniel being the first, in 2004). Crafted in Alpine White mohair, the adorable Crystal is 11" tall with chocolate brown eyes and black hand-stitched nose, mouth and claws, and is five way jointed. Like her brother Daniel, she also has a Swarovski Xilion crystal as her button-in-ear, instead of the traditional gold button, making her the second Steiff bear to wear the Swarovski crystal. Her Certificate of Authenticity is #05911, which matches her numbered ear tag. She comes with the Swarovski 2005 Annual Edition Star / Snowflake Christmas Ornament, which was designed by Gabriele Stamey. The ornament is 3 1/4" in diameter, and features 6 long extensions and 6 short extensions. The faceted clear crystal ornament has a metal tag with the year 2005, and a special festive red ribbon (instead of the usual blue ribbon) for Crystal to wear the ornament around her neck, or for hanging on the tree or an ornament display. Both Crystal Bear and the 2005 ornament are in as-new condition and come complete with original boxes and COAs. The outer box for the bear shows some shelf wear but is still in excellent condition.
