Fine handcrafted in the tradition of European Pewterers quality pewter pendant ornament with a cozy Canadian winter scene. A snowman greets you in front of a country cottage sitting amongst the evergreens.  • Cast from molten pewter, chased and finished • 2.5" wide x 1.75" tall • Silver metallic thread for hanging. • Made in New Brunswick, Canada • Made in 2007 Modern pewter is an alloy of at least 95% tin with small parts of bismuth, silver, and copper. It does not tarnish, but oxidizes slowly and evenly giving it the subtle glowing sheen for which it is famous. This piece is still in the packaging. It is in perfect condition. Aitkens mark is on the back, as well as the Irving logo, as it is part of Aitkens Pewter's Saint John Ornament Collection. ST-1
