2008 The Royal Shield of Arms Ten Pence Coin Queen Elizabeth II Collectible is in near mint condition. The stunning 2008 ten pence coin was one of the series, that when put together, create the Royal Shield in its entirety. This shiny 10 pence coin is made of copper-nickle and it is a non-magnetic sterling pound. It was only in circulation from 2008-2010, so not an easy find for collectors to grab one in the wild. On one side of the reeded ten pence collection coin from 2008 has the upper left portion of the Shield of Arms and it reads ten pence. On the other side is the fourth crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II who is wearing an Ireland tiara and the Girls of Great Britain. It reads ELIZABETH·II·D·G REG·F·D·2008 and it is in Latin meaning "Elizabeth II by the Grace of God Queen Defender of the Faith." This coins engravings was a part of the series that was the first change of the Britain coin engravings for 40 years.
