2022 Carnival Nationz Caribana costume - Iris

This beauty of a costume is from the Iris section of the 2022 Toronto Carnival presentation from Carnival Nationz. It has so many pretty colours, starting with a mainly pink and yellow horizontal ombré and finishing with iridescent jewels that contain lots of blue hues. The 9 pieces included are: 1. fully adjustable jewelled bra, size large, tied at the back with clear straps to hold the cups up despite the cutouts in the front 2. bikini cut jewelled panty, size medium, with long straps that are part of the costume design (this was not worn next to the skin) 3. jewelled belt, or waist band 4. jewelled choker necklace (note that I made my own pendant but it fell off during the parade, so you can attach something else or just get rid of the slender chain hanging from the front) 5. jewelled arm bands (2, for the upper arms) 6. jewelled leg bands (2, for the thighs) 7. jewelled leg band (1, for the shin) Normally I save my costumes for gigs, but this one has not been worn since the day of Toronto Carnival in summer of 2022.
