These earrings are made of a silver tone metal and have simple hook findings. Each earring features two sections: the first is a red spherical bead (presumed plastic), and the second is a square of red abalone shell, dangling from the red bead. I know that red abalone exists in nature and that it is used in jewellery, but I couldn't tell you if these pieces are naturally red or if they were dyed.
