(2/$20) Red Brown Stone Pendant Necklace

This necklace is made of a silver tone metal and has a lobster clasp closure. The chain is thin and long and holds a stone pendant with a silver bail. I've had a heck of a time trying to identify the stone. It is most similar in tone to dark hematoid quartz, but it isn't nearly dense enough. What I can tell you is the stone is cold to the touch, completely opaque, a dark red brown tone (like old blood) with white and green specks throughout. A blade doesn't scratch it, it leaves no mark on unfinished porcelain, and though there are tiny pits in its surface, it has been polished smooth. If it interests you, the stone density is about 1.5 to 1.6cm3 (cubed). The necklace has some wear, but no issues affecting wearability. If you know what this stone is, I'd love to know!
