(2/$20) Vintage Distressed Scarf Clip

This vintage clip is made of a silver tone metal and has a hinged loop on its back. The front of the clip is shaped like something halfway between a lightning bolt and a squiggle, and has tone change/loss/darkening/distress throughout. While this kind of "distress" would normally ruin a piece, there's something about this clip that makes the distress work. The piece has wear throughout but is still functional and wearable, please see the pictures! I'm listing this as a brooch but I believe it's meant to be clipped into a sweater or collar.
