(2/$20) Vintage Etched Cat Barrette

This vintage hair barrette is made of alpaca silver (AKA german silver) and features 5 kitty cats with etched details sitting side by side. The front of the piece has a bit of a green look in certain lights, but I can confirm it is NOT verdigris. The back has a standard barrette clip closure and there is some rust around it. Unfortunately, I can confirm this IS rust (please see picture). It doesn't affect the wearability as it's on the inside, but it's worth pointing out. Very cute for a cat lover who also loves vintage.
