This vintage tie clip is made of a gold tone metal and has a spring-loaded clip back. The tie clip features a wide rectangle made of a white shell with two gold tone stripes going through it horizontally. I believe the material is shell and not mother of pearl because though it has an iridescence, there is no rainbow tone.
