This vintage charm is made of sterling silver and has its original jump ring. The back of the charm appears to be stamped "1000 Ster", which suggests it might be pure silver. If this is the case, that might explain the excess of marks on it, as pure silver is softer than sterling. The front of the charm (head facing left) is quite darkened, along with some areas on the back. This should come off if polished, but it is also part of the charm of having a vintage piece. You can't buy patina! There is no maker's mark visible. Overall, even despite the marks and the tarnishing, this charm is very wearable and has a lot of life left.
