Very good preowned vintage condition, limited edition decorative plate titled 'Early Start' featuring illustration of a mating pair of loons and their new chicks relaxing in the marsh by Don Li-Leger. Painted in a rich array of greens, blues and soft browns with a pop of red for the eyes. Produced for Dominion China Ltd, The Loon: Voice of the North series in 1991 for The North American Loon Fund. Replete, like most of these plates, with a real gold rim. This one has a unique pattern. Plate 2 of a series of 4. Some bittersweet nostalgia for those who grew up in North Ontario.
