Very good preowned vintage condition, limited edition decorative plate titled 'Regal Wings' featuring illustration of a mating pair of loons and their chicks basking in the clear marsh air by Don Li-Leger. Painted in a rich array of greens, blues and soft browns with a pop of pink for a flower and red for the eyes. The beautiful emerald green of the adults is striking. Produced for Dominion China Ltd, The Loon: Voice of the North series in 1991 for The North American Loon Fund. Replete, like most of these plates, with a real gold rim. This one has a unique pattern. Plate 3 of a series of 4. The lily is a lovely touch. The picture has so much soul. Every paint stroke is purposeful.
