This is such a delightful creation by my late Mother in Law, Ruth Hansen. She was such a felting master and could paint with wool. This unisex hat shows a little man panning for gold by a river side. I’m guessing it was inspired after a trip to Barkerville, BC, an old mining and panning town in the Cariboo. Grey wool hat with a hand woven ribbon above the brim. Circumference of inner hat is 24” which would put it at a med-large. Smoke free house 🏡
