3 Ornaments made from Repurposed Masks #3

These ornaments are all handmade entirely of repurposed (unused) surgical masks! I have to wear a mask all day every day, and I needed something positive to come out of these masks! So, I came up with six different designs that I liked. These are the first three, check out my other listings for the other three! Note- I have copied the text below for a few different listings, but because each one is slightly different, please refer to the pictures. The heart ornament is made by first sewing together the layers and folds of the masks using a decorative stitch on my sewing machine. Then I cut slits, and wove two pieces together, and added the ear straps as elastics. The gnome ornaments are made by slicing the inner layers of the masks into strips, then I machine sewed the decoration on the hat, and added a nose and glued everything together. The angel is mostly made from the elastic ear straps, but the wings are made from a single layer of the mask. All the parts are held together with a wire. I think these would be a great idea for a creative, unique gift, or to keep for yourself as a memory we will look back on years from now! Please see my other listings for more hand made ornaments!
