✅ 3 Rare Amboseli Block Meerschaum Pipes – Vintage African from Arusha, Tanzania

These vintage smoking pipes were personally purchased in 1968 on a visit to the Tanganyika Meerschaum Corporation factory in Arusha. Made of genuine block meerschaum, ebonite and briar wood, these are the real deal. Two were barely used back in the ’70s and are otherwise in excellent condition, and two are unused! Genuine ebonite mouthpieces. Tanganyika meerschaum is normally white, or stained in shades of brown, black and yellow. See pictures for details. Ready for your favourite smoke! ▶️ Genuine block meerschaum bowls ▶️ Briar wood outside with meerschaum block liner ▶️ Ebonite fishtail mouthpieces #1 - Pipe is un-numbered and features an ebony-coloured, rough-finish briar wood bowl with tapered stem #3 - Pipe is un-numbered and features a rosewood/jacaranda-coloured, polished wood bowl with meerschaum liner and tapered stem. Small crack in outer wood, but liner unblemished. Unsmoked! #4 - Pipe numbered #17 features a solid block meerschaum bowl with a carved/incised diamond pattern and straight stem. Lit once or twice, otherwise like new
