✅ 2 Rare Amboseli Block Meerschaum Pipes – Vintage African from Arusha, Tanzania

These vintage smoking pipes were personally purchased in 1968 on a visit to the Tanganyika Meerschaum Corporation factory in Arusha. Made of genuine block meerschaum, ebonite and briar wood and rosewood, these are the real deal. The briarwood one was lit once or twice back in ’69 and is otherwise in excellent condition, and the rosewood one is unused! There is a small crack in the outer wood of the rosewood pipe, but there is no crack in the meerschaum, so does not affect performance. Mouthpieces are genuine ebonite and are removable for easy maintenance. Tanganyika meerschaum is normally white, or stained in shades of brown, black and yellow. See pictures for details.
