3 Spice of Life Bread and Butter plates.

This is for 3 vintage Corning Centura bread & butter plates. This pattern is called the Spice of Life pattern. A band of colorful vegetables borders the plate. Corning began producing Centura in 1966 and ran it until around 1977. Though it is a form of pyroceram it is not glazed (Corninware IS glazed). The glazing is one of the things that makes Centura look like fine china. Centura came before Vitrelle (Corelle) and IS NOT microwave safe. Microwaving overheats the plate and leaves the food cold. It measure approximately 6 1/2” across (16.5cm). On the underside of the plate is marked, “Centura by Corning.” This plate is in very good to near excellent condition.
