3 Vintage Cow Button Covers / Slips. Button / Cuff Accessories Handcrafted

Old MacDonald had a cow … and now you can too. Add a touch of whimsy to any outfit. Button covers fit right over existing buttons. A no sew no commitment project. New old stock. Vintage. At least 30 years old. One cow is missing from the card: likely got pulled off and was put out to pasture. So only 3 cow button covers are for sale. These cow button covers are made from a moldable plastic and are hand made and painted. These button covers have some damage. Looks like the metal clips are made from brass and there is some oxidation. See photos. Letting you know for full disclosure. The metal clip attaches to your button so the oxidation is generally not visible from the front if you want to use as is. I think the oxidation can be cleaned off but selling as is. At the very least, paint the metal with clear nail polish to prevent further damage. I am not doing this just in case you want to try cleaning them. Instructions for use: 1. Snap open button cover (will fit over any button up to 1.3 cm in diameter) 2. Slide the backing under your button 3. Snap the cover shut Cover your top shirt button like a brooch, cover all of your shirt buttons down the front or cover your cuff buttons like cuff links. Just for fun or when the occasion calls for something special or wacky.
