3 cones of cotton/wool blend yarn dk/worsted weight 1.5lbs

Mega lot of Brown Sheep "Cotton Fleece" in the colourway, "Oriental Jade". This is a wonderful cotton/wool blend from a high-quality American brand. Cotton Fleece is called worsted by the company and this is accurate, if you go by the knitted and blocked gauge. But it feels finer in the skein, and I have knit it at a dk gauge without any problems. This yarn is usually sold in 100g skeins, but I was able to score it on these huge cones. Each cone is 226 grams, or 1/2 lb, with a yardage of 445 metres per cone, for a total of 678 grams and approximately 1335 meters. So this is the equivalent of over 6 and a half skeins. Not only is this enough for an adult sweater, but since this is coned, there will be a minimal number of ends to weave in. Bonus! The colour is a matte jade green. All three cones are the same dye-lot. It may look a bit shiny in some of the photos, but it is matte. It was rather hard to capture with my camera, so I have included a screen shot from the yarn's Ravelry page for comparison purposes. Cameras, monitors and eyes all vary, so if exact colour matching is important to you, please keep this in mind. The last picture is shown as an example of the usual put-up in skein form. This yarn is still available in this colourway. It can be hard to find in Canada, but a number of on-line and U.S. retailers sell it for about $14.50USD per 100g skein. Since this is from my stash, the dye lot may not match newer production runs.
