3 skeins of Manos del Uruguay handspun 100% wool for knitting crochet weaving

This is a disarming and engaging bulky weight wool from manufacturer Manos del Uruguay. It is 100% wool, handspun and kettle-dyed in Uruguay. This particular range come from the early days of Manos de Uruguay, when the company was still a very small producer with local roots in the community. Today, Manos has grown into a big, multi-national brand, and specializes in more mainstream, luxury yarns. 700Tex is more rustic, more sheepy, and leans into its artisanal roots. These are truly special skeins for the thoughtful knitter. Each skein is 100g and approximately 126 metres. One has been handwound by me but never knitted. The other two are still in the hank. All three show the tonal variation and slight thick/thin texture typical of this yarn. The colour is called "Mallard", and is a dark teal, more blue than green. I have tried my best to capture the colour, but cameras, screens and eyes all vary, and this yarn may look lighter or darker in person. Vintage, discontinued.
