Offering a set of two vintage The Workbasket magazines: February & March 1955. Both are postmarked with an address, but only March’s still has a USA George Washington stamp affixed. Aside from February’s stamp cover tear, these magazines are in good 70 year condition. There are no markings, pages are naturally aged; intact and legible. Articles and advertisements are a classic historical window of the past. For book collectors, junk journalists, sewer/craft/homemaking enthusiasts. The Workbasket was a popular American magazine published from 1935 until 1996, offering a variety of patterns, articles, recipes, and tips on needlework, crafts, and home arts.
