However, what you will learn can help you to comprehend that life is what happens and how one can gain strength from finding significance in these events. This book made me think. And I think that is the best complement to the author. I enjoyed the tone, pace and message. Honestly I was not as familiar with the story of Jacob and that provides a good backdrop to impart the lessons this book teaches. Well worth the read. This book is a touchstone needed by all of us as we navigate today's secular world. It reminds us of our imate connection to God while affirming that our quest for goodness and our love of famly, friends and even strangers will survive long after we are gone from the earth.
