3/$35- MORRISSEY DVD LIVE IN THE U.K. - 1995 TOUR 🖤

Ohhhhhhh Morrissey (known by some HC fans as Mozz), the patron Saint of many sentimental Goths and gay men the world over. His sound would never have become so iconic without the unique guitar styling of key player Johnny Marr during his days with The Smiths... but surprisingly the DVD here kicks some supremely mopey ass despite his absence. My favourite standouts include "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get", "Whatever Happens, I Love You", "Now My Heart Is Full", and the times when at least 4 men (and MANY during the encore) and one woman (the same woman twice, in fact, ha!) rush the stage. Other bloody incredible standouts are when he ends the setlist by saying, "I thank you from the heart of my bottom", the SUPER out-of-character for his shows but very emotion-building lightshow during the encore, and the way he (seems to, anyway) graciously accept kisses, curtsies, and bows from his adoring fans without so much as a flinch - especially for such a notoriously introverted but beautiful loner. Not many standalone hits, but a can't-miss and beautiful collection, only watched twice and without a single scratch, for the true Morrissey or Smiths fan. 🖤🖤🖤
